This blog was originally intended for a few friends, family and me. Mainly me. I thought it would beat writing down my musings in a scrappy old notebook, even one with this picture on the front …
But I came to the conclusion, over the past couple of months, that we needed more Kadampa bloggers. I know they are out there, waiting. So this blog has become an invitation. Don’t leave me alone on this big world wide web!
If you want to write just a little something but don’t want to start a blog, you can send me your guest article. If it seems like a good idea, I’ll put it on this blog.
Or just use the comments section, that works, and it is handy for a blogger to have feedback!
If you like anything on this blog, please share it.
Feel free to like Kadampa Life on Facebook or follow me on Twitter (@lunakadampa). Or subscribe so you don’t have to check back here, the computer does it for you.

Hi, saw your comment on the Eating Animals blog post and followed the link. I’m a recent convert to vegetarianism (and hope to turn vegan one day soon) hence my new interest in this topic of not eating animal meat. Looks like a blog filled with interesting posts so will come back soon for more reading. 🙂
Hi Earthianne, thanks for checking out my article on a Buddhist take on factory farming. I’m delighted your article about Jonathan Safran Foer’s book Eating Animals made it onto Freshly Pressed and has got a lot of people thinking. Here it is: http://mrsdexter.wordpress.com/2011/06/10/eating-animals-a-review-a-quandary/
I enjoyed looking at your blog. Personally I’m not much into blogs, and never ever go on Facebook or other such sites. So excuse me if I seem uniformed, but I wonder why you appear to use a pseudonym rather than your actual name? I am reluctant to join a blog written by an anonymous person, even though clearly you appear to have a good motive and a close connection with venerable Geshe-la. I too feel close to Geshe-la as my spiritual guide. I am in TTP at KMC CA and have been attending classes, festivals, giving teachings, and otherwise making kadampa buddhism my life’s central force for over a decade.
Regards,
Gary Davis
Hi Gary, its a fair enough question and i’m not sure if i even know the answer! When I started this blog, it was one of the first Kadampa blogs (though there are now many more); and so in a way I was sticking my neck out and doing something new. I thought it would be discreet, in the background, for just a few family and friends; but it has gotten bigger and bigger and taken on a life of its own and now I’ll keep my pen name, at least for the time being. Call it shyness if you like! I’m sure I have other good reasons too, i’ll let you know if I think of them 😉
Thanks to all those of you who have posted comments so far 🙂
